Fryderyk Chopin(A Banknote of Poland)

Narodowy Bank Polski(NBP) issued a banknote face value of 20 zlotych to commemorate Chopin's 200th birth anniversary on March 19, 2009.

Frederyk Chopin(1810-1849), Polish composer and pianist, born at Zelazowa Wola, near Warsaw on March 1, 1810 and died in Paris , October 17, 1849.

During 2010-2011, Twenty-Four(24) countries have issued stamps, souvenir sheets as well as postcards to celebrate this bicentennial occasion.
